Faulty Tags Report

The data collected by the tags are crucial for identifying cows, and monitoring animal and herd behavior and health. When tags malfunction it affects the data integrity and may impact on the users' ability to provide timely treatments.

Tag faults may result from short-range, long-range, or measurement faults.

The Faulty Tags report displays the number of faulty tags counted during the previous day.

Column	Description
Cow number	Displays the cow number to whom the tag is assigned
Status	Displays the status of the cow (Milk, Dry, Heifer)
Tag	Displays the serial number of the faulty tag.
Group	Displays the group number of the cow with the faulty tag.
Group Name	Displays the group name to which the cow with the faulty tag is assigned.
Read by Afimilk Reader	Displays the number of tags not read by the Reader (long-range).
Read by Parlor/Sort	Displays the number of tags not read in the parlor or Sort (short range).
Activity Fault	If the cow is below the minimum activity threshold.
Ingestion Fault	If the cow is below the minimum ingestion threshold.

Activity Fault	AfiAct II - If the cow has fewer than 30 steps per hour, in a single day. AfiAct III - If the cow is below the minimum activity threshold.
Rest Fault	If the cow has more than 22 rest bouts.
